Where to find the best St. Patrick’s Day food, fun and ‘craic’ – Palm Beach Post

Flashback to St. Patrick's Day, 2018: Revelers at Paddy Mac's in Palm Beach Gardens, a favorite spot for celebrating March 17.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the Emerald Isle with a pint (or two) of Guinness, maybe a shot of Bushmills or Jameson, some fantastic Irish food, excellent music and plenty of good times or “craic.”

These six pubs are ready and willing to provide the revelry and help us all go green on March 17.

Good times, live music and authentic food will be on tap during the St. Patrick's Day festivities at McCarthy's Irish Pub in Tequesta.

McCarthy’s Pub, Tequesta

Open from 2 to 10 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, they will have food specials and live music by Billy Kamalay from 2 to 5 p.m. followed by Jimmy Gallagher from 5 p.m. to close.

McCarthy’s has been a Jupiter/Tequesta staple for over 45 years. Though they’ve changed locations a few times, the goal has always been the same: to treat each patron as if they were family, provide a hearty meal, relaxing beverages and a good time, one shepherd’s pie at a time.

Menu: The regular menu here features soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches and entrees including Irish classics like shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips and McCarthy’s Irish stew. There will also be special items for St. Patrick’s Day including corned beef and cabbage and Irish Reuben sandwiches and sliders.
